It is with huge sadness that we inform you that Frankie Murphy tragically passed away after being involved in a road accident on 24th October 2016. Frankie’s death is a massive shock to the whole school community and will be felt by many. Frankie was such a big part of the day to day life of our school, he will be missed.
Frankie was in Year 9 and was a larger than life character. Frankie always looked for opportunities for fun and had a fantastic sense of humour. Frankie loved fashion, motorbikes and enjoyed playing “ping pong”, as he called it! He made a huge impact wherever he went. Finch Woods Academy sends deepest sympathy and condolences to Frankie’s family and friends at this difficult time.
